Villa Marella and it's staff are quite simply "fantastic". From the very first email inquiry the bar was set and it just got better and better. I visited Villa Marella with my children from 29th December 2019 to 11th Jan 2020. Where do I start?

I really could go on and on, it's sincerely that good. We were all completely blown away upon entering the villa by it's beautiful furnishing, incredible amenities and amazing views. It's also high tech from top to bottom. We arrived in the evening and Chef Umm and her husband ( Dode ) had prepared an incredible banquet fit for a king! This is of course after we had been met at the airport by Dode in the luxurious villa SUV. Umm is a first class chef and we ate at the villa for the majority of our vacation for that very reason. The villa has everything you can think of to enjoy a wonderful family holiday - even things you wouldn't have thought of too, but they have!
We were there for NYE and believe it or not I had forgotten to add Champagne to my pre arrival drinks order, but they read that mistake like a book and there were two bottles of champers in the wine cooler ready for the night. Simple little things like that and last minute dinner orders for chef Umm were never too much trouble.
Chef Umm and Dode are always on hand when you need them to take you somewhere or to book an excursion etc, but they are not at all intrusive. Amazing how they got the balance just right of being there, but without you knowing they were there unless you called for them.
I rarely take the time to write reviews but I feel on this occasion everyone needs to hear about this place and the amazing holiday you can have if you're lucky enough to be able to book it. We were all quite sad to leave Villa Marella and fully intend to visit again.

The accommodation was luxurious, practical and spotlessly clean.
The service from Um and Dodee was quite simply the best I’ve ever had on holiday (and I’ve had some great service). They are warm and friendly and produce beautiful food. We had amazing breakfasts, BBQ’s and Thai meals.
The pool is stunning, as is the billiard table and the TVs allowed us to watch big football matches together as a family!
Loved it and would absolutely love to come back at some point in the future!

Absolutely stunning! Very Quiet, private, but still easy to get to Bangrak town and Choengmon town. Khun is very kind and friendly, very quick response for any questions. We had an absolutely comfy private movie theater, perfect hot coffees in the morning, absolutely private jacuzzi pool, great BBQ experience with stunning view, and great sleep in the absolutely perfect bed after taking hot and strong big shower. You have everything you need here. Highly recommended!

We had a superb stay at Villa Marella during our family trip back at Easter. The Villa provides you with everything you could need; with its highly impressive audio-visual setup, pool table, spacious and tidily designed communal areas and infinity pool. The scenery provides the perfect backdrop for sunset views from the balcony/pool. You can spend days there without the slightest sense of being cooped up indoors. The on-site staff were also fantastic. They were so efficient and friendly, and cooked amazing food. But if you fancy cooking yourself they also have a state-of-the-art gas BBQ. We would highly recommend any sort of stay there, be it a quiet getaway or trip with family and friends.

Unbelievable sunset views! Its hard to find a reason to leave the villa with the pool and excellent BBQ setup. The staff hit the perfect mix of attentive and non-intrusive and the food on offer is delicious. We had great weather but the downstairs area would be fantastic for kids or for rainy day parties. We'll be back...

What an amazing experience. We had a true 5 star holiday. The view of the island and the nightly sunsets around the pool and the BBQ we fantastic. The movie theater and pool room were above and beyond. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional. We cannot wait to return....Thank you very much Villa Marella!!!

Had a truly beautiful time at Villa Marella, kids loved the huge pool. Was a safe environment for the kids to play and enjoy the fantastic island that Koh Samui is. The villa team made us feel really welcome. An amazing Villa with bang on facilities, best pool table I have ever played on!! Loved the holiday would definitely come back July 2019.

We have recently returned from what was a pretty perfect week at this magical villa! The villa is very well equipped with a gorgeous infinity pool, cinema room and pool table and is ideal for all the family. The top floor is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful views that the villa offers. The Master bedroom opens onto the terrace area with the most gorgeous view of the ocean which each night is lit by the most stunning sunsets. The pool is an excellent size, with a shallow area for younger kids and a Jacuzzi just next to the BBQ area. The villa is a 5 minute drive from some lovely beaches that have activities for all the family including Jet skiing. We loved every minute and cannot wait to return soon with our extended family.
This place was perfect in every sense. All the amenities you would expect from a Lux hotel. Try the seafood BBQ prepared by your very own chef onsite while you enjoy a nice cocktail in your own private pool. The breakfast was fantastic. I had asked, what time is breakfast? and the answer was whenever you want.
